We all know the importance of proper puck prep before pulling a shot, but did you know that one of the main culprits of channeling can often stem from an uneven distribution of water from your machine's group head during extraction? This tends to be very common, particularly in prosumer machines, and can wreak havoc on your shots if left unchecked.

The job of a puck screen is to act as a mediator between the group head and the coffee, interrupting and diverting the high-pressure streams of water for a much more controlled, balanced flow through your grounds.

All of our puck screens are 1.7mm thick, 150 microns (filtration mesh size), and made with 316L steel.
