Even the best beans can produce disappointing espresso if your coffee bed is uneven.
Clumps and pockets in your grounds create weak spots during extraction, leading to channeling, spurting, bitterness, and inconsistent flavor in the cup.
The Crema WDT Tool helps you prep a smoother, more even coffee bed before tamping by breaking up clumps and evenly distributing your grounds throughout the portafilter.
The result? More balanced extractions, improved consistency, and espresso that tastes the way it was meant to.
Whether you're dialing in your morning shot or chasing café-level espresso at home, proper puck prep makes all the difference.
All orders will be processed within 1-2 business days, Monday-Friday.
Please allow extra processing time (1-2 days) during high-volume times such as sales, new product launches, etc.
Crema Coffee Products is happy to accept returns and exchanges within 45 days of your original purchase. Returns and exchanges must be returned in the same condition as they were received, without physical signs of wear or use, and should be returned in the original packaging.
Our custom designed WDT tools are machined from solid stainless steel, and have been meticulously designed with both ergonomics and function in mind.
Form Meets Function
The pen-like shape, coupled with the soft, silicone grip, provides a natural, comfortable fit in the hands and aids in a natural stirring motion during use.
Perfect at Home or Away
Each tool comes with 6 needles/pins - 3 for use and 3 as backup. These pins are 0.4mm thick, and are completely removable, should they ever need to be stored or replaced. If you're traveling and on the go with something like the Flair, toss the pins into the built-in storage vault and pack the tool safely with the rest of your kit.
Ideal Three-Pin Design
The three-pin design keeps the tool slim and sleek, and allows for full control over your rake pattern and technique. This design also allows for compatibility with a wider range of narrow portafilter applications, such as the baskets found on the Flair espresso machines.

This tool is not only pretty and unique, but very useful. It does a beautiful job of helping the grounds to settle in the portafilter after grinding. A professional barrista friend of mine loves it, too and said he has not seen something like this before.
To us, coffee is a ritual. And we want you to love every moment of it. To take joy in the process of measuring and grinding. To experience confidence while distributing and tamping. To rejoice in the sight of the perfect extraction. And of course, to love every drink you make, every time you make it.
