Crafted From Premium Materials

We never skimp when it comes to coffee. Our portafilters are made with 304 stainless steel and either solid anodized aluminum or all-natural wood handles.

Observe and Diagnose Your Extractions in Real Time

One of the most common visible signs that you're experiencing extraction issues is through channeling (or spurting), which cannot be seen with a standard spouted portafilter. Exposing the bottom of your portafilter basket will allow you to witness these extraction issues first hand, providing an opportunity to diagnose and improve the quality of your shots.

Pairs Seamlessly With Other Crema Products

Continue to dial in your routine by pairing your portafilter with our 54mm Dosing Cup or one of our Precision Tampers/Distributors.

Honest Review

So, I am newish to espresso. Filter coffee has always been my jam. I immediately bought the Crema Bottomless portafilter because it was the one I have heard the most about. My first realization is that because the the handle is slanted, you have to learn to hold the handle weird to make it fit into the group head because of that tilt. It’s a pain in the butt and I end up having to hold the portafilter part to have it fall into place in my machine, then use the handle to twist it in. Then because the portafilter and the handle can be unscrewed, when twisting it hard (because of the issue I listed prior) counter clockwise, the handle untwists from the portafilter attached the group head. I reached out to customer service about all of this and they basically just said that I can glue the portafilter to the handle and nothing about the first issue. So they were nice but not really that helpful.
