In general, I like this. It distributes the coffee pretty well, especially in combo with a WDT tool. And the heavy weight makes it much more effective at tamping than the tamper Breville includes with its espresso machine. But coffee tends to get caught up between the metal distributer and the black bit. It's easy to get it out, but it does mess up with the dosing. I do really like how this is compatible with the dosing funnel!

I was skeptical when I first saw this distributor as it looks vastly different from all I’ve seen in my search for one. Pulled the trigger after watching a barista use it on YouTube. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it as it was heavy and built better that anticipated. It works flawlessly and has vastly improved my espresso preparation in that I can now pull a much better shot. Highly recommend.
